Foxy Fridays: DIY Summer Facial Masks

Summer DIY Facial Masks | www.SpicyPinkInspirations.com

        It is coming to the end of the Summer and that means our gardens are finally producing some fresh little goodies for us! If you don't have a garden, you can take advantage of the great prices for seasonal fruits and veggies wherever you prefer to do your produce shopping. Either way, now is a great time to try out these wonderful facial masks made out of your new fresh ingredients. Who wants a healthy glow and to feel good about using organic ingredients to do it? I do! Remember to have a clean, dry face before applying these masks to reap the most benefits from each of them.

** As with any new product you try, you should do a little patch test somewhere on your body, your wrist or behind your ear for example, before placing products all over a large portion of your skin (your face in this instance) particularly if you have sensitive skin.

This little number just sounds so tropical and delicious. It will leave your skin glowing afterwards not to mention it smells amazing! This works for all skin types.

Organic Banana Face Mask
1. Mash one half of a banana.
2. Mix in a tablespoon of orange juice and a tablespoon of honey.
3. Apply to the face avoiding eye area. Keep the mixture on for 15 minutes.
4. Rinse with lukewarm water and then moisturize.

Foxy Fridays: Bargain Products I'm Loving Right Now!

       There are a number of products that are my absolute favorites right now. These are things I use everyday and absolutely love for one reason or another. These are items I either would repurchase or already have repurchased. I would like to share them and my experience with them with you all. I have provided links to almost all of the products below for your convenience.

Bargain Products I'm Loving Right Now | www.SpicyPinkInspirations.com

1.) Bath & Bodyworks Cucumber Melon scented body lotion. I love the refreshing scent of this lotion. It is a staple for me this time of year and screams Summer! Plus I totally took advantage of their semi-annual sale in June and picked it up for a fraction of the regular price!

2.) One 'n Only Moroccan Argan Oil. I have medium to thinner hair, so using an oil on my hair worries me because I don't want it to look greasy/dirty or be weighed down. This stuff not only is lightweight (when used accordingly) but it also leaves my hair sooo soft and smells AMAZING.

Try It Tuesday: Vinegar & Dishsoap Shower Scrub Tutorial

     It's Try It Tuesday! Time to kick off our new weekly Tuesday post with this dandy little cleaning number. You will love the simplicity of this concoction as well as the power. Enjoy!

Vinegar & Dishsoap Shower Scrub Tutorial | www.SpicyPinkInspirations.com

      Most of us are looking for more natural ways to clean our homes without using harsh chemicals and this seems like a step in the right direction.We have all seen the posts on Pinterest about the shower cleaner you make from vinegar and dish soap, right? Well, I decided to try it out, but I wanted to see just how much punch this stuff really packed. So I tried it out on a friends shower that is covered in built up rust. {They live in the country and their water softener quit on them. Needless to say since the pictures say it all, they kinda gave up even trying to keep up with the rust build up. Don't judge. :o)}
